#10: Have you ever felt like you’ve traded in brain cells for your baby? 'Mom Brain' is something I’ve heard thrown around on the regular and I say it myself constantly when I have a lapse in my memory or do something silly. When I did further research into it, however, I realized there isn’t that much information on the topic readily available in easy to digest formats like youtube videos or podcasts. I was so happy to sit down with Dr. Mehlenbacher to try to understand what’s going on with our brains during and after pregnancy. Spoiler alert: lack of sleep is a HUGE part of it. But it is much deeper than that too. It was fascinating to learn about this.
